2.2
|
Description of the goods or services required
The Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology (RBGO) group within the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Science at Swansea University wish to procure a Live Cell Analysis system to expand the capabilities of the group. Procurement of this instrument will support academic and industrial collaborations developed as part of two ERDF funded, SMARTExpertise projects; the Cluster for Epigenetic and ADC Therapeutics (CEAT) and ReNeuron, IgInnovations and Swansea University's development of Exosomes towards clinical utility (RISE).
A condition of the funding body covering this equipment is that it must be invoiced (not necessarily delivered) on receipt of a Swansea University Purchase Order, prior to 31st March 2023, so only suppliers able and willing to issue an invoice by this date should tender.
The RBGO Group wish to conduct an open tender process in order to source a suitable supplier of a live cell analysis system. The system should allow the group to monitor live 2D and 3D cell cultures in an optimal environment for growth. The system should allow the user to obtain data such as confluency, spheroid growth rate, cell migration, apoptosis, cell cycle stage and cytotoxicity.
