Abstract

The aim of the Commissioner is to appoint a supplier to provide an internal audit service to commence on 1 April 2018. The principal objective of internal audit is to review and appraise the adequacy, reliability and effectiveness of risk management, internal control processes and governance procedures within the Welsh Language Commissioner.

A supplier has asked for confirmation whether holding business interruption insurance is a requirement in order to submit a tender. The Commissioner does not require that the insurances are in place at the time the tender is submitted, only that the successful tenderer commits to obtain the necessary insurances prior to the commencement of the contract; or in the case of business interruption provide evidence of their ability to reinstate services in a case of interruption.
