K.G.J. Price (Railway Contractors) Ltd is a specialist railway company that manufactures, installs, maintains, and repairs railway tracks throughout the UK, servicing many different sectors including industrial, heritage, and narrow-gauge railways.
Established in Cardiff in 1985, primarily serving the Coal industries of South Wales, the company has since that time progressed to a one stop shop providing consultation services, pre-site surveys, layout design, detailed switch and crossing design, manufacturing, pre-assembly, installation and onward maintenance. We also have a large stock of new and serviceable material, our own transport fleet, and ballast packing machine.
The company has a directly employed workforce based at our headquarters in Bedwas that can react quickly to customer requirements, and emergency call outs.
All our operatives are fully skilled to current Network Rail standards and have wide ranging experience of up to date installation techniques on both main line and in yards and sidings
