Research & Insights Dynamic Purchasing System for Welsh Government Research Contracts – 2024 Update

Welsh Government are continuing to encourage key suppliers in the Research category, including all Universities, to apply for Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Research & Insights Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) providing research to public bodies across the UK.  Where appropriate, we will tender all research requirements over the value of £25,000 through this DPS until it expires in December 2025 and would encourage your organisation to apply for the DPS so you do not miss the opportunity to bid for our contracts. For those interested in participating we have published over 70 call-off competitions with contracts awarded ranging from £25,000 to £2m to support a the whole breadth of Welsh Government policy areas. Examples of the contracts awarded to date include:

Welsh Government plan to use the DPS for the following upcoming requirements over the next 3 to 6 months:

C059/2024/2025 - Evaluation: Repair and Reuse Activities – up to £90,000 (exc. VAT) – Summer/Autumn 2024

C042/2024/2025 - A Process Evaluation of Community Focused Schools Funding (TBC) – up to £100,000 (exc. VAT) – 10 month contract – Autumn 2024

C074/2024/2025 - Review of Medium and Long-Term Health Funding Sustainability in Wales – up to £100,000 (exc. VAT) – 9 month contract – Autumn 2024
