The Procurement Act 2023 will come into force on 24th February 2025 and will see the biggest transformation in a generation on how public contracts are procured.

The new regime will deliver simpler, more effective public sector procurement, and help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) secure a greater share of approximately £300bn of expenditure per year. Contracting authorities will now have an express duty to have regard to the barriers that SMEs may have in securing public contracts and to break down those barriers.

What will the event cover?

This session will guide SMEs through the essential provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 and provide guidance as to how they can best prepare and to give them the best prospect to win public contracts.

Important - This event is for Welsh based small and medium-sized enterprises.
