Introduction
Public procurement law is changing following the introduction of the new Procurement Act 2023 and associated Regulations which are scheduled to go live on 24 February 2025. If you are a business that supplies goods, works or services to the Welsh public sector you need to know about these changes and our plans to prepare stakeholders for its implementation.
UK Government
To support readiness for the new regime, GOV.UK has released a series of new resources to support suppliers using the central digital platform. This includes detailed walkthrough videos for suppliers on how administrators can complete and update supplier information, along with a short guide for suppliers on how to navigate the central digital platform.
They have also recently hosted two webinars for suppliers and other interested parties which focussed on the key changes for suppliers and featuring a live demonstration of the central digital platform.
