In November 2024, a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Rural Support was established by the Welsh Government for use by all departments within Welsh Government and some other public bodies.

Welsh Government are encouraging key suppliers in the Rural Support category to apply for a place on the Rural Support DPS.

To apply, please follow the guidance provided in the Sell2Wales notice.

WG intends to use the DPS for the following upcoming environmental requirements over the next three months:

  • C201/2024/2025 – Landscape scale control of INNS c. £200,000 -£220,000.00

Using the DPS provides numerous benefits including a ready-made platform for procuring research, reduction in time to procure for both the buying organisation and the supplier, opportunities for new suppliers to apply for the duration of the DPS and improved business intelligence.

The Rural Support DPS is live now and expires in October 2028. We would encourage your organisation to apply for the DPS, so you do not miss the opportunity to bid for our contracts.

If you have any further questions, please contact us via RuralSupportDPS@gov.wales.
