The
third iteration of the North Wales Construction Partnership (NWCP), is a collaborative
agreement of the local authorities of North Wales, which include the counties
of Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd and Wrexham. NWCP brings
together the skills of pre-qualified, experienced small, medium and large
contractors to deliver diverse school, public building construction works as
well as social housing. NWCP offers a competitive procurement platform and a
solution for public sector construction projects starting from £250K, with a
pool of highly skilled and qualified contractors, both local and national.
As well as the Six-North
Wales authorities, the framework may also be utilised by other public sector
bodies across the region, increasing the value for money it provides and the
wider benefits to the region.
NWCP is a full member of the National Association
of Construction Frameworks (NACF). The NACF provides a platform for NWCP to engage with other frameworks
and sharing best practices and expertise both in England and Wales. NWCP also works closely with other regional frameworks to ensure that
they are providing the best possible service to their clients. This
collaborative approach allows us to stay up-to-date with the latest industry
trends and developments, and to continually improve processes and procedures.
Delivering Community
Benefits is at the heart of the procurement approach with a view to unlocking
wider social, economic, environmental and cultural wellbeing through the ethos
of Wellbeing of Future
Generations Act (2015) into all projects.
We believe that working together helps build
stronger communities, NWCP contractors share ideas to support Building North Wales Communities Together. This
framework will not only benefit the current generation but also future
generations by promoting sustainable development.
