Total quantity or scope of tender
The boiler house plant project is a large part of a major project to design, construct and commission a milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site, and will be delivered in conjunction with other major works on site but splits into seven distinct phases with some of the work being carried out directly by the Purchaser and some work by the supplier, as follows:
Phase 1
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will be excavating the project area and constructing new buildings, concrete plinths, ducts and drains, and pathways to provide support and housing for all new equipment.
Phase 2
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will erect a low voltage power distribution building and provide power supply to the plant, install new gas and water supply, steam distribution, condensate return and hot water ring main.
Phase 3
The Supplier will supply, offload, and install steam raising plant and associated equipment.
Phase 4
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will supply and install new electrical feed cables and gas supply pipework to the steam raising plant.
Phase 5
The Supplier will install electrical power distribution from their distribution panel to meet all their requirements, and install mechanical gas, feedwater, steam, condensate and hot water distribution pipework within boiler house.
Phase 6
The Supplier will install all safety equipment to enable full operation of plant.
Phase 7
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will supply and install all distribution pipework external to boiler house.
The works will be carried out as part of a Notified CDM project.
