Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council working with the Vale Nature Partnership wishes to engage a consultancy with the relevant experience to undertake a Feasibility Study into the establishment of a local provenance tree, shrub and wildflower/seed nursery to be run along the lines of a social enterprise and to write a 10-year Business Plan for such an enterprise.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Preference will be given to consultancies that are familiar with the social enterprise model, have experience of the establishment of local provenance tree nurseries as a social and environmental benefit, who work effectively in partnership with the public, private and third sectors and who are experienced in presenting business plans. Because of the amount of local ground work and contacts needed then a South Wales based consultancy would be preferred.
