Abstract
Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) are looking for a specialist contractor to undertake vibration measurements. The measurements are to be a sample of employees working with hand held equipment which when used emits a vibration value. Intensity of vibration for different tools is usually measured as an acceleration unit corrected for an eight hour working day and referred to as an ‘A(8)’ value.
