Abstract

Denbighshire County Council and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are collaborating to review the use of their current Health & Social Care buildings in Denbigh. This being with a view to enable opportunities for further integration and co-location of services. This OBC will seeks to deliver fit for purpose premises that are accessible, have sufficient space for current and future provision, are well located, meet the needs of local people, and supports service delivery. Services are currently delivered from multiple settings in the area with varying degrees of collaboration and integration. The proposal is influenced by a broad range of factors, including the poor condition of the existing estate, improving service delivery, bringing services closer to the community and the need to overcome limitations such as access, space, and parking. This programme seeks to look for enhanced accommodation solutions that facilitate and support the co-location and integration of several services including: - Outpatient Clinics - Primary Care services - Community Resource Team - Rehabilitation and Therapies Services - Local Clinics - Local Authority services - Residential EMI care, intermediate care, and residential care provision - Step up/ Step-down The Strategic Outline Case (SOC) has already been completed and has been through the appropriate governance. We are now looking to proceed to Outline Business Case (OBC) and will be going to tender later in the year. However, in order to apply for the appropriate funding from Welsh Government we required some indicative costs. Therefore, we would like for you to provide by 31/05/24 some indicative costs for a full programme OBC. This should include the following information and be based on a programme cost of £50M (incl VAT). Please can these indicative costs be sent via email to project.management@denbighshire.gov.uk Outline Business Case Design & Project Management Design to RIBA 2 Design to RIBA 3 Please can you indicate whether your quotes are inclusive of VAT.
