Newport City council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced mechanical, electrical, civils and controls contractor to undertake air source heat pump installations to integrate with the existing space heating and DHW circuits within Newport High School located in Newport, South Wales.

Total quantity or scope of tender
Two ASHP installations are required including some structural / civils work in preparing suitable storage compounds within the school grounds. The ASHP's will be free issue and contractor to allow additional costs for taking delivery, storage and locating in contractor prepared compound.

3 Conditions for Participation
|
3.1
|
Minimum standards and qualification required
Contractor to be registered with Safe Contractor and all site personnel to be DBS approved for working within school environment. Site operatives to be Asbestos Awareness trained as a minimum.
The Contractor is required to execute the works to provide a safe, cost-effective, high-quality installation compliant with all prevailing good industry practice, regulations and statutory requirements and in accordance with all tender drawings and specifications.
The design, installation and operation of the heat pump shall be fully compliant with EN 378 (all parts) where applicable.
