Abstract

Hywel Dda Health Board ("HDUHB") has awarded a contract for the replacement of their existing Forcepoint Cloud Secure Web Gateway Licences agreement through the purchase of Iboss Zero Trust Network Access Licences for a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution which includes the following key capabilities. • Secure Web Gateway (SWG), • Cloud App Security Broker (CASB), • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), • Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), • Data Loss Prevention (DLP), • Android and Apple IOS compatibility, • Dedicated public IP addresses. These SASE licences will replace HDUHBs current SWG licences which lack key features such as ZTNA, compatibility with Android and iOS mobile devices and dedicated public IP addressing. The contract is essential for the Health Boards cyber security team as the solution provides secure internet access to prevent phishing, malware and cyber-attacks against the Health Boards devices such as corporate desktops, laptops, mobile devices and internet connected medical devices. The National Procurement Service (NPS) IT Products and Services (ii) framework agreement (NPS-ICT-0094-19) is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation. The framework included several potential providers who have achieved inclusion on the framework following a qualification process and procurement invited all suppliers on the framework to the mini competition.
