II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide manned guarding, key holding, opening/closing premises and mobile patrol services at various locations throughout the Local Authority.
It is intended that a Single Supplier Framework Agreement be put in place for a period of 2 years (fixed) with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months taking the total to a maximum length to 4 years. It is expected that call-off contracts will be let for known sites and their requirements shortly after the Framework is awarded. Any additional sites/requirements will be let via future call-offs
