Bretton Hall Solar will be a community-owned solar PV plant of c.30MW export capacity and battery installation to provide renewable energy for export via the local distribution network and/or directly to nearby heavy power consumers. The project is sited at Bretton Hall, near Broughton in Flintshire on the border between England and Wales and the site extends across the national boundary.
We are currently developing an interim 1.5MW scheme. We invite responces to the EPC contract for this interim scheme.

Justification:
We require work to commence no later than the end of January in order to make financial close of the project prior to the start of the new financial year. Making reference to the critical path in the Gantt on page 5 of the procurement document you will see that extending the procurement process passed the end on January will result in slippage of the design review and jeopardise EPC commencing before the start of the 25/26 FY.
