The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive
Explanation:
Public Health Wales utilise the Starlet and Nimbus platforms across the laboratory network as the main medium throughput platforms for Covid-19 testing.
It has been confirmed by the manufacturer the analysers have a 7-year life expectancy therefore planned preventative maintenance is required for the remainder of the lifespan. NWSSP Procurement Services cannot identify a Framework Agreement that can be used to award this contract.
