Description of the goods or services required

Amey Infrastructure Wales (AIW) requires an OLE Subcontractor to support in OLE installation of the new railway electrification infrastructure on the Core Valley Lines (CVL).

This support will require personnel and plant for the following activities:

• Installation of Main Part Steel (MPS)

• Installation of Small Part Steel (SPS)

• Installation of OLE Wires

• Undertake Registration works

• Installation of Switches

• Installation of In-line equipment

• Provide POS Licence and undertake POS duties

• Possibility to provide Site Engineering

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The successful subcontractor will be required to hold validated ConstructionLine Gold membership in line with Amey’s supplier assurance policy. Tenderers can submit their offer without this in place, however they will be required to provide commitment to achieve this if successful, and have in palce before any on site works commence.

The successful subcontractor will also be required to hold validated RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) membership, with associated RICCL codes relevant to scope requirements.

Tenderers must also be able to provide all plant and equipment as part of the scope requirements.

Public Liability - £10m
