Framework for the Provision of a Pest Control Service for the Vale of Glamorgan Council

Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) wishes to commission an adhoc pest control service.

Any future agreement will be in the form of a framework and will operate for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.

Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The successful supplier will provide a full pest control service across the Vale of Glamorgan covering the total area from Penarth in the east to the boundary with Bridgend in the west. This will include visiting properties, assessing the problems, identifying the solution and carrying out restorative works.

Any future agreement will be in the form of a framework and the Council gives no guarantee of when the Service will be required. However for information n the last 12 months, 30 jobs have been commissioned by the Council.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon.

Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.
