Wedi'i lleoli yn Friog, mae Ysgol Friog yn ysgol gynradd ar gyfer plant 4-11 oed.

Nid yw gosodiad presennol yr ysgol bellach yn addas i'w ddefnydd, ac mae angen ei ailfodelu. Mae'r gwaith yn cynnwys tynnu asbestos, agor ac adeiladu waliau mewnol, gosod toiled hygyrch newydd, ac adeiladu dau ramp mynediad i'r ysgol (i gydymffurfio â Dogfen M).

Mae’r dull caffael yn draddodiadol, ac yn cael ei ail-dendro yn dilyn methiant i benodi yn ystod y pandemig Covid-19, a dyna pam mae rhai o’r dyddiadau ar y dogfennau yn hŷn.

Disgwyliwn i'r rhan fwyaf o'r gwaith gael ei wneud dros wyliau'r haf pan fydd yr ysgol yn wag, gyda'r rampiau allanol yn iawn i'w gwneud yn ystod y tymor. Rydym wedi gadael gwyliau hanner tymor mis Hydref yn rhydd ar gyfer unrhyw orffeniadau mewnol gael eu cwblhau.

Located in Friog, Ysgol Friog is a primatry school for children from ages 4-11.

The existing laytout of the school is is no longer fit for purpose, and is in need of re-modelling. The work consists of asbestos removal, the opening up and the construction of internal walls, the installation of a new accessible WC, and the construction of two access ramps into the school (to conform with Document M).

The procurement method is traditional, and is being re-tendered following failure to appoint during the Covid-19 pandemic, hence why some of the dates on the documentation are older.

We expect the majority of the work to be carried out over the summer holidays when the school will be empty, with the extrnal ramps ok to be done during term. We have left the October half term holidays free for any internal finishes to be completed.
