|
Description of the goods or services required
As part of the Vale Nature Partnership’s ‘Connecting Nature Neighbours’ project, one of the targets is to improve conservation management in urban spaces in the target areas.
In order to assist the Vale of Glamorgan Council it is proposed that detailed 15-year Conservation Management Plans are drawn up for each of the following green spaces that will determine the future management,
resilience and monitoring of the habitats and species.
Barry Headlands (Friars Point, Nells Point and Knap Point)
The Dingle, Penarth
Cliff Tops, Penarth
The Dump Open space, Barry
Rhoose Point
In drawing up each plan the successful consultant will be expected to involve Council staff in both the Parks and Open Spaces and Countryside Teams plus the Vale Nature Partnership who have considerable
knowledge of the green spaces.
Draft management plans will be subject to a public consultation following approval by the officers of the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
