Bridge Work Afon Tawe- Re Tender

Remove existing 16 metre footbridge, steel and concrete construction, and take away. Install new- supplied 16m footbridge. This is a simple 3 "I" beam construction with timber decking and hand rails and is supplied by the National Park Authority. The main beams are in two pieces with fish plating.

A new concrete pad, holding down brackets will be required.

The access to the site is restricted, across a sensitive hay meadow, so there must be provision for protecting the ground. Afon Tawe is a main river adjacent to Nant Llech SSSI, therefore a FRAP will be required.

All works in river must be completed by 5 October.
