Abstract

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has secured Open Space and Public Art Section 106 funding to implement environmental improvements at the Murchfield recreation ground to refurbish the existing MUGA and tennis court and adjacent areas to provide a creative, imaginative, active recreational space providing opportunities for active recreation for the whole community with an artistic theme. The Works include the following activities. • Site clearance including removal of existing MUGA and tennis court fences • Rationalisation and extension of pavements including new kerbs and pavements including surface course • Installation of new fencing and sports equipment • Installation of features (furniture) manufactured by artist • Decoration of new surface as set out by artist

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has secured Open Space and Public Art Section
