Venue Cymru - External Repairs and Decoration 2025

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

To undertake any repairs to the external cladding and re-painting of the external elevations of Venue Cymru, Llandudno, Conwy.

Description:

Setting up of site compounds, scaffolding etc.

Inspection of existing render/plaster/cladding;

Remediation of any damages, cracks, holes, spalling, flaking etc.;

Preparation of surfaces for painting (walls, doors, window frames);

Painting of selected elevations including doors, window frames etc.;

Possible capping details (dependant upon inspections).

The external elevations of Venue Cymru are to be repaired and repainted in their entirety.

Each area, as described in the Tender Documents, to be priced individually and all or some of the areas are to be selected and remediated at Conwy County Borough Councils discretion, dependant upon final costs.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The contractor must be competent and suitably qualified and certificated for each aspect of the works and must be willing to provide evidence of such.

Evidence of competencies and the completion and similar works to a high standard is to be provided during the application process.
