This contract is for the carrying out of the construction of a series of natural flood management interventions within the Afon Beuno catchment, north of Bontnewydd. The required interventions primarily include the construction of a series of leaky dams, leaky barriers, fencing and hedgerow planting. The purpose of these interventions is to slow the flow of water during peak rainfall and storm event.
