Title
Llanrumney Play Area
|

Description of the goods or services required
Cardiff Council intends to appoint an appropriate contractor to build a new play area adjacent to Llanrumney Hall.
The new play area will be a 635m2 and will provide play equipment and features for different age groups and abilities.
The construction will consist of:
Clearance and preparation of the site
Laying of new surfacing
Soft landscaping
Installation of play equipment
Perimeter fencing
Please refer to the drawings and Specification for the full scope of work.
The contractor shall be responsible for fencing and securing the site during the works, protecting existing trees in accordance with BS5837:2012, developing a safe site management plan for working close to Llanrumney Hall (including access to and from the site for contractors vehicles) protecting underground services (where applicable) and meeting their obligations under the CDM regulations.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
Social Value has been allocated a total weight of 10% as part of the quality/price matrix for this procurement which will be evaluated using sub-weighting on the following basis.
