Abstract

The primary requirement of the appointed contractor is the immediate supply of services, including some or all of those listed below, in response to weather conditions as determined by the Farm Manager. Contracted Services are likely to include one or more of the following operations: ● Cutting silage ● Raking silage ● Lifting silage [clamp] with self-propelled precision cut harvester ● Buck-raking silage into silage clamp ● Carting silage [trailers] ● Big baling and wrapping silage. ● Slurry/Muck spreading. ● Ploughing, disking, power harrowing ● Hedge cutting ● Direct drilling of seed ● Topping weeds Contractor will be expected to supply appropriate machinery and fully qualified operator/s, in response to demand within a reasonable timescale, within a 3-day window at most, to our Glynllifon Farm campus location.
