Total quantity or scope of tender

Pembrokeshire County Council requires an access audit to be produced which assesses current on-the-ground accessibility as well as designs (up to RIBA stage 3) for the development of the old gaol, Governor’s House, internal and external interpretation. The consultant will be expected to assess all aspects of the site and facilities to ensure plans meet statutory and legal requirements for accessibility and if they fail to comply, to make recommendations to bring plans up to compliant standards. The project is ambitious in seeking to provide a best-practice example of accessibility for a retrofitted heritage site in West Wales and therefore the contractor will be expected to make further recommendations for how to do this.
