Transport for Wales (Trafnidiaeth Cymru) (TfW) exists to drive forward the Welsh Government's vision of a high quality, safe, integrated, affordable and accessible transport network of which the people of Wales are proud.

We are potentially seeking a technology partner to assist with the bus network development and customer information teams within TfW from design stage through to data generation for downstream systems.

Our core objectives are to:

- Standardise the scheduling/ timetabling system provision across TfW;

- Ensure a primary system for bus is available for core TfW processes: network design, engagement, customer information, procurement, contract management, network performance, ticketing and revenue analysis and;

- Improve workflows of the TfW teams to generate schedules for our programmes including Traws, Traveline Cymru, franchising, realtime systems and an upcoming multimodal digital customer system.

We intend to undertake pre-market engagement with this PIN with the structure to be confirmed at a later date and Supplier will be given the full details. The structure can be via Meet the Buyer event, one-to-one sessions or written feedback request and will be open to all Suppliers that register their interest via email on SupplyChain@tfw.wales.

Please note that this is only an early pre-market engagement, and no quotations or proposals will be accepted or reviewed at this stage. Notes and information from this engagement will be shared as part of the Tender Documentation pack when this opportunity is actually tendered later this year.
