Abstract

Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) announces a Contract Award for the B898 - Construction of Industrial Units, Village Farm Industrial Estate, Pyle, Bridgend, following a Further Competition permitted under the SEWSCAPS 3 Framework Agreement - Lot 6 refers. Briefly the project involves the following: • light industrial building housing 8 ‘starter’ units together with all modest small power and lighting. • Storm and foul diversions and connections to sundry locations and soft landscaping. • Adjustment of existing site levels to the required development platforms for buildings and car parking, including the formation of strategically located SUDs and retaining features. • New incoming mains connection together with all BWIC, • the construction of a new vehicle and pedestrian site access point, footpaths, cycle parking and bin stores etc. • Reduced levels, parking and surface water requirements for a second building (building itself is excluded) to facilitate the future construction of a second building.
