Abstract

The overarching strategic objective for Trydan is to accelerate realisation of the Welsh Government’s net zero ambitions by delivering a minimum of 250 MW of new renewable energy generation capacity by 2030 and an additional 750MW of new capacity by 2040 through local ownership of projects. Trydan are currently developing five onshore wind projects on the Welsh Government Woodland Estate and expect this portfolio to grow over the coming years. The aim of the tender is to award a 5-year contract to provide accountancy services for Trydan with a maximum budget allocated of up to GBP 150,000 exc. VAT. The successful Bidder will report on Trydan’s own accounts and those of the projects it develops on behalf of Welsh Government annually. The successful Bidder will work with the Trydan Finance Manager and Chief Operating Officer to ensure timely delivery of the Work Package requirements described in the Specification. The contract will be procured via the FTS Open Procedure and tenders must be submitted via eTenderWales. The successful bidder will be awarded a 5-year contract to deliver the Work Package detailed in the specification, with a maximum budget allocated of up to GBP 150,000 exc. VAT.
