PPROVISION OF UNPAID CARERS SERVICES FOR ADULTS
Wrexham County Borough Council are looking to commission unpaid carers services and are seeking tender applications from organisations that are able to meet the required service outcomes as detailed below for the provision of a of a number of services for unpaid carers.
The Provider will maximise wellbeing and enable unpaid carers to achieve positive outcomes in the home, community, educational and work environments.
This is an outcomes focused specification for adult unpaid carers. As it focuses on outcomes, it leaves scope and flexibility for providers to organise service delivery in a range of ways to achieve the required outcomes. We welcome providers to bring their expertise to the table and outline how they will deliver on the outcomes set out within the specification. Innovation and creativity is encouraged.
The service will be commissioned for five years with a provision to extend by a further two years in annual increments. The provider will be expected to work in partnership with local social services teams, third sector organisations and the local health board.
The provider will need to ensure that all aspects of their service are delivered within the principles of the Social Services and Wellbeing Wales Act.
The total cost of the complete service for Wrexham County Borough Council is not to exceed £270,000 per annum
The anticipated contract start date would be 1st August 2025.
