Abstract

The Provider shall provide the 'Company' (Heathrow Airport Limited) with a consistent, high-quality 24/7-365day world-wide corporate travel services; that provides all company employees with flexible travel booking services. The service should be capable of facilitating both single point-to-point journeys and complex itineraries with multiple connections. The service shall support the Company's corporate travel arrangements and shall include, but not be limited to the following; Air , Rail & Sea Travel Short-term Car Hire Taxis Accomodation (Bedrooms and Meeting Rooms) Traveller Tracking. Suppliers will be required to; Manage bookings, ticket issue, payments and changes. Negotiate hotel rates on behalf of the Company Manage the application of rates for Heathrow direct agreements such as BA and Arora Hotel Provide an online booking tool service Provide 24/7 Call Centre Option.

Lodging of appeals

A standstill period will be incorporated at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Utilities Contracts Regulations (SI 2006 No 6) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court.
