Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Council’, invites Tenders in accordance with the enclosed Instructions, the Council’s Requirements and subject to the attached terms and conditions, to set up a contractual agreement for The Provision of Short Term Green Waste Treatment Services

At the conclusion of the procurement exercise, it is the Council’s intention to award a contract for an initial period of 1 year, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 12 months.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The fundamental purpose of the Contract is to secure a current and operational facility which provides a reliable, effective and satisfactory service green waste treatment and associated transportation service The Authority also requires either a standing articulated trailer or an articulated trailer that is loaded upon arrival. The average load of green waste is 17 tonnes.

Contract Waste arising’s will amount to approximately 1700 tonnes per annum
