Abstract
The Housing and Economy Department are currently working on their External Works Programme, which includes a wide range of works to the gardens within the curtilage of the property and schemes on Housing owned land. In addition to this works, there is an ongoing budget to complete environmental improvements work, which is an ongoing process and continues beyond December 2020.
This Contract is for the following:
(1) Construction of Environmental Improvement Schemes, including

• Off Street Car Parks
• On Street Parking Lay-bys
• Drainage Schemes
(2) Reconstruction of Communal Yards
(3) Bespoke Civil Engineering Schemes, i.e., construction of Access Roads

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
It is a requirement of this contract to provide Core Community benefits, which will include employment and training opportunities for disadvantaged groups of 52 weeks training per one million pound of contract spend.
The following Non-Core Community Benefit objectives will not be evaluated as part of the tender process - the successful Principal Contractor will be expected to present a Community Benefits Proposal with their tender submission to the minimum value of 0.25% per million pound of contract spend.

Description of the Works - amended
This Contract is for on plot parking schemes to council properties and other minor civil engineering schemes required to facilitate the construction of on plot parking bays at properties under the ownership of Wrexham Council’s Housing and Economy Department. This framework will includes off street car parking, on street parking lay-bys, drainage schemes and general ‘ad hoc’ civils works. These will all be designed by the Employer and a target cost produced by the Employer, which will be based on the Principal Contractors tendered rates.
The Employer will be responsible for producing the design of all works and schemes, including producing a Target Cost based on the Principal Contractors tendered rates, which will include:
Scheme Pack containing: • Design Specification • Scheme Drawings • Schedule of Rates, including Scheme Cost • Statutory Undertakers Information
