Abstract

We are looking to appoint a contractor for an initial six-month period to help us develop two distinct workforce plans with identified and agreed actions including where the responsibility for delivering on the actions lie. The aim would be to create a workforce plan for social workers, and a specific workforce plan for the direct care workforce in adult services in line with themes of the workforce strategy as follows: - An Engaged, Motivated and Healthy Workforce - Attraction and Recruitment - Seamless Workforce Models - Building a Digitally Ready Workforce - Excellent Education and Learning - Leadership and Succession - Workforce Supply and Shape In addition, we look to the contractor to support the development of a post qualifying framework for social work that takes account of existing post qualifying provision and proposes new learning content based on sector need. Description of the goods or services required

We are looking to appoint a contractor for an initial six-month period to help us develop two distinct workforce plans with identified and agreed actions including where the responsibility for delivering on the actions lie.

The aim would be to create a workforce plan for social workers, and a specific workforce plan for the direct care workforce in adult services in line with themes of the workforce strategy as follows:

- The post qualifying framework to be signed off in early January 2021

- The workforce plans to be signed off in the middle of February 2021

There is a budget of £86,880 (inclusive of any applicable VAT) agreed for this tender.
