Abstract

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) is designated a Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) under the Flood and Water Management Act, 2010. As such it has powers and duties relating to “local” sources of flooding, these are flooding from surface water, ordinary watercourses and groundwater. The Flood Risk Management (FRM) Team (with the Planning, Environment and Circular Economy Directorate) carries out these functions within OCC, working in partnership with the district and city councils alongside others.

This Framework will be utilised by OCC as the contracting authority, but Parish, Town, City and District Council’s within Oxfordshire will also be able to call off from the Framework with prior agreement and arrangement from OCC.

Tenderers are invited to tender for the provision of the Services described at Appendix 1 Specification for a term of 3 years with an option for the Council to extend for up to 3 years, anticipated to commence on 14th October 2024.

This Tender is divided into Lots:

• Lot 1: Minor Ground Works

• Lot 2: Culvert and Small Bridge Works

• Lot 3: Culvert and Drainage

Tenderers may apply for one or more Lots. Lots will be evaluated independently of one another, and Tenderers will receive one score for each Lot they apply for. Each Lot represents one contract.
