The Welsh Government Commercial Delivery (WGCD) team on behalf of the Welsh Public Sector wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of Musical Instruments and Associated Products to the public sector in Wales. This procurement is being conducted by the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery team, which is part of the Commercial Procurement division of the Welsh Government. As a consequence of the Government of Wales Act 2006, the contracting party will be the Welsh Ministers. Any agreement that is established as a result of this procurement exercise will be managed by WGCD

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This procurement relates to the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of musical instruments and associated products to the Welsh public sector.
The DPS will be created on a category basis based on the discipline, region and value band.
The disciplines covered by the DPS include:
1.Brass instruments and accessories
2.String instruments and accessories
3.Woodwind instruments and accessories
4.Percussions instruments and accessories
5.Special adaptive instruments and accessories
6.Digital Music equipment
7.All instruments and accessories (A category reserved for bidding entities who can demonstrate they meet the requirements of regulation 20 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ie The category is reserved to sheltered workshops and economic operators aiming at the social and professional integration of disabled or disadvantaged persons
WGCD reserve the right to amend or add categories during the operation of the DPS

Description of renewals:
The period of validity of a DPS can be extended, shortened or terminated at any point during the lifetime of the agreement.
WGCD plan to review the appropriateness of the agreement at the end of the original period of validity and invoke further extensions of two year periods until the agreement is no longer considered fit for purpose.
