The Council is looking to commission the provision of Alternative Education Provision under this framework agreement. The Provider will deliver a range of alternative approaches to providing access to education for young people who are excluded or at risk of exclusion, at risk of disengaging from mainstream school provision or otherwise require alternative education provision to meet their educational entitlement. In addition, the Council is looking to commission a range of providers to deliver tutoring to children and young people where they are temporarily unable to access provision.

To get the initial set of alternative education providers on the framework, the tender deadline is 19th January 2024 @ 12 noon. There will also be the opportunity for new providers to apply for the framework throughout the duration of the contract term and new providers can apply to this through project reference WP3899a. In the event that maintaining this open framework becomes too resource intensive, the Council reserve the right to close the framework and subsequently re-open it as and when its required during the contract’s duration.
