Abstract

Hampshire County Council (HCC) has several frameworks for construction & building works available to public sector clients in Hampshire and the surrounding area, and wishes to consult the market to inform future buying strategies. Currently construction activities are categorised under the following suite of frameworks:

Southern Construction Frameworks (generally works above £5m)

Intermediate Construction Frameworks (generally works between £1m & £5m)

Minor Works Framework (generally works under £1m)

HCC Decorations & Repairs Framework

Note: HCC has numerous other frameworks, however for this market engagement only the above frameworks are being considered. Hence, only the contractors who are able to provide the following types of works should complete this form: General Building works £0 - £2m, Building Construction projects £2m+, Electrical works, Mechanical Works, External Doors and Windows, Cladding works, Roofing works, and Decoration and repair works. HCC wishes to engage the market in the most effective and appropriate way possible and is seeking information on how to form a strategy for construction works delivery. This exercise is not connected with any specific procurement opportunity and is an exercise in information gathering to inform HCC's long term framework strategy.
