This notice is confirmation of an award having been made due to an urgent circumstance. The Contract Authority; NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract under the PSR Urgent Award process. The authority is publishing this notice in Find a Tender in accordance with the NHS Provider Selection Regime.
For the provision of a service to meet the needs of a child/young person. The providers are chosen via a complex panel which includes the child/young person’s social workers. This service is for the registered General Practice population of Wakefield District. £0 cost per individual young person, depending on their needs Period of 12 month award 01/01/2024 – 31/12/2024.

Explanation
This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
The Childrens Complex Panel, specifically seek to place a child/young person with the most appropriate provider to meet their needs. There is no time to award any other way than urgently in these cases.
