Abstract

Opportunity Sheffield is seeking providers who will supply a 15-20 day training course focused on enhancing employability and preparing participants to secure work in the Rail and Construction sector, specifically as a Multidisciplinary Machine Operator. The training programme must be suitable for unemployed and economically inactive residents of Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Each course will accommodate a minimum of 12 participants at training premises within Sheffield. The 15–20 day programme will be followed by a work experience placement within the sector (to be arranged in liaison with Sheffield Council Project staff).
