Abstract
Pen-y-Graig Woodland Centre is seeking to appoint a Framework of suitably qualified and experienced service providers, as detailed in the specification, to deliver an individually designed programme of woodland skills, arts/creative training and psychotherapy support throughout the duration of the Framework (until 31st December 2021).
This pilot programme is funded through the Welsh Government’s Co-operation and Supply Chain Development Scheme – Rural development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The programme will support a new health care supply chain based in the Gwent region of Wales in an ancient woodland in Penallt, Monmouthshire. The pilot will be focussed on the rehabilitation of front-line emergency service staff, NHS staff and veterans recovering from acute mental health conditions such as post-traumatic stress.
Lot 15 is for Drama and Storytelling therapy services and includes To supporting participants self awareness and that of the woodland around them by folk and mythical story telling together with dramatic re constructions of historical events or social history locally.
