Abstract

WCVA has been providing guidance to Community Centres on how to restart and deliver services safely as the majority had been closed during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The specific guidance written for Community Centres is available here: https://wcva.cymru/guidance-for-community-centres-reopening-in-wales/. Prior to reopening a community centre, the person responsible for the premises must carry out a specific Coronavirus risk assessment, in addition to any risk assessment already in place. WCVA’s requirement is for a suite of tools and templates to support the person responsible/manager for conducting a specific coronavirus risk assessment. We expect the bidder to outline the tools they will make available, but some suggestions are as follows: - a template risk assessment - a supporting video - a guidance document to accompany the assessment template The contract is likely to be awarded by 11 March 2022 and we anticipate the work to be concluded by 1 April 2022.
