Abstract
Swansea Council is looking to explore the availability of a range of accommodation types within Swansea's current market to help support children. We are interested in both rural and urban options across all of the following categories of potential need.
1. Accommodation with a specification that meets CIW/RISCA regulations (fitted and maintained sprinkler system) and which has between two and five bedrooms.
2. Accommodation with a specification that meets current HMO requirements and which has any number of bedrooms.
3. Accommodation with a specification that meets CIW/RISCA regulations which is fully accessible to powered wheelchairs and which has at least three accessible bedrooms.
4. Accommodation comprising of self-contained flats, ideally (but not necessarily) with a specification that meets CIW/RISCA regulations.

- The property postcode.
- The number of bedrooms.
- Which of the specified categories you feel the property could support.
- Potential weekly costs for the provision.
*Please detail the above for each available property, on a property by property basis.
The information given will be used to evaluate available accommodation within the marketplace against emerging needs within Child & Family Services. This is a speculative exercise which is not currently linked to any plans for a formal tender exercise. It may, however, result in further contact about specific properties if supply aligns with needs. This contact will take place by 15th March at the latest.
The publication of this notice does not signify the beginning of any formal procurement process and does not constitute a commitment by the Council to undertake any future procurement process.
The Council may withdraw or amend any information contained in this notice at any time and without notice.
