The reinstatement and extension of the much-loved grade B listed Grant Lodge (1766), sited in a beautiful and strategic location, will be delivered as a key part of the Moray Growth Deal Cultural Quarter project.

All consultants must be members of their professional bodies, for this project it will be essential to have an accredited conservation architect in your team.

The bidder is required to confirm that (to the best of their knowledge) there are no material post balance sheet events or other business issues arising since the date of the last audited financial statements that materially impact the economic and financial standing of the economic operator.
Where the operator is not able to make such a conformation, full details of the relevant events shall be provided along with an explanation of the expected impact on the bidders economic and financial standing.

Moray Cultural Quarter: Grant Lodge Multi-Disciplinary Design Team
The Moray Council is seeking an experienced multi– disciplinary design team with exceptional and specialist design skills, particularly in relation to working with listed buildings, to deliver a new cultural attraction and heritage venue for Moray in Cooper Park, Elgin. The reinstatement and extension of the much-loved grade B listed Grant Lodge (1766), sited in a beautiful and strategic location, will be delivered as a key part of the Moray Growth Deal Cultural Quarter project. Bringing this important heritage building back into use will re-activate Elgin’s heritage core creating a unique opportunity for local and visitors to Moray alike to become a meeting place for Moray.
A full design service is now required for to take the project forward. This is a single appointment for an integrated Design Team. The Lead consultant will be responsible for the management of all sub-consultants. To deliver the full ambition of this project it is anticipated that the Design Team will include (but not be limited to) the following essential specialisms: Accredited Conservation Architect, Landscape Architect, Interior/Interpretation/Design Concept Specialist, M&E/Building Services Engineer, Civils and Structural Engineer, Principal Designer, Fire Consultant, Energy Consultant. The appointee will work closely with the Cultural Quarter Project Team and the Cost Consultant who will be appointed by the Client under a separate appointment.
