Description of the goods or services required
The Contracting Authority seeks to procure a framework for the provision of works to the interior and exterior and grounds for both their New Build Schemes which are Traditional Construction Method and Passive Construction method, under the qualifying long term agreement.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
To meet the requirement of Principle 4 (Community Benefits) of the WPPS it is the Cartrefi Conwy Group’s policy to look to secure community benefits / social value (they are different terms for the same thing) on all procurements where such benefits can appropriately be realised. Guidance on the actions to be taken to ensure Community Benefit objectives are incorporated into procurement activity is provided through the Welsh Procurement Route Planner Toolkit at: http://prp.gov.wales/toolkit/ as well as a range of measurement tools, the most relevant being; Community Benefits Guidance: Delivering Maximum Value for the Welsh Pound Community Benefits Measurement Tool for Services and Goods Community Benefits Measurement Tool for Construction and Infrastructure
