Description of the contract

The engagement will begin with the audit for the year ended 31 March 2018 and is a 6 year appointment, subject to annual reappointment.

The successful Tenderer will:

Audit the statutory group financial statements of Coastal and Pennant, in compliance with accounting standards and the Welsh Government Determination.

Provide audit plans in advance of the audit, and an audit management letter following the audit, to the Board/Committee.

Certify as required returns to funders on information based on the financial statements.

Prepare tax computations and returns for Coastal and Pennant.

Prepare and examine/audit a small number of service charge accounts and housing co-operative accounts.

Prepare Trust & Estate Tax Returns/Company Tax Returns and deal with other tax requirements for the service charge accounts and housing co-operative accounts.

A quotation is also required for full preparation of the financial statements of Coastal and Pennant from trial balance and supporting information supplied by the client.
