Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to establish a provider list, using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), of organisations able to provide supported accommodation for young people, aged 16 and over, who need greater support, than available in Council’s other supported accommodation services.
This provider list will enable the Council to procure appropriate care and support services offering accommodation, which promote independence and help young people move into mainstream supported accommodation or on to their own tenancies.
Providers must have experience of providing care and support services to young people with particularly high need’s (young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties who display challenging and high-risk taking behaviours) and must comply with the relevant regulatory standards.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Council intends to secure placements for service users in the most appropriate location, which is generally expected to be within 25 miles of the centre of the commissioning authorities location. Where the individual requirements can be met by more satisfactorily by homes beyond this area, placements further afield will be considered.
The provider list will also be open to be used by other commissioning authorities in the East Midlands region. Commissioning authorities listed in this document have agreed to be specifically named. Other authorities will be added to the list and portal information when they start commissioning via the list.
The provider list will operate for a period of 10 years.
