Total quantity or scope of tender

Rhaid i'r cloddiad 2-3 wythnos o hyd gael ei gynllunio a'i gynnal yn unol â Safonau a Chanllawiau ar gyfer gwerthuso meysydd Archaeolegol a Chod Ymddygiad Sefydliad Siartredig yr Archaeolegwyr (CIfA), a rhaid iddo fod ar waith ym mis Awst 2019.

Rhaid bod yna hefyd strategaeth ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd ac allgymorth, ac mae'n ofynnol ei bod yn cael ei chyflwyno'n ddwyieithog (Cymraeg a Saesneg). Mae'n ofynnol i'r strategaeth hon ddefnyddio gwirfoddolwyr yn y gwaith cloddio, ynghyd â chysylltu ag ymwelwyr â'r safle yn ystod y cloddiad. Mae'r fryngaer wedi ei lleoli yn ymyl cyrchfan arfordirol brysur, ac mae i ran o'r safle, sydd ar Lwybr Arfordir Cymru, fynediad agored. Yn ogystal, bydd yn ofynnol bod 'diwrnod agored' yn cael ei gynnal, ar y cyd â CHERISH a pherchnogion tir, a hynny ochr yn ochr â diweddariadau parhaus ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol trwy gyfrifon cyfryngau cymdeithasol CHERISH.

The 2-3 week excavation must be designed and undertaken in accordance with CIfA - Standard and Guidance for Archaeological field evaluation and Code of Conduct and must take place in August 2019.

There must also be a public engagement and outreach strategy which should be delivered bilingually (Welsh and English). This strategy is required to include the use of volunteers on the excavation and liaison with visitors to the site during the excavation. The hillfort is located adjacent to a busy coastal resort and part of the site is open access and on the Wales Coast Path. In addition an ‘open day’ event in conjunction with CHERISH and landowners will be required alongside continual social media updates through CHERISH media accounts.
